Summers really arrived :) after two days on the beach with the sea like a mill pool we actually got abit of breeze today and from the n/e a unusual direction here in the summer. So after a bike ride to Landguard this morning with Mag and a little girl we are childminding for the summer hols and after a quick lunch I was at the dip at about 1:45 and Chris Phillips was out enjoying the sunshine although a little more wind would have been perfect. I had no choice but rig 9.4 and take out the raceboard and started off by beating up to the Deben to check out the flat water behind the shingle bank sadly not enough wind but had about 500m that might work the next strong n/e :) I returned to the dip just in time for Mag to arrive on her bike with a flask and home made biscuits :) So out on the water again and this time decided to sail the 6 mile up the River Deben to Waldringfield seeing a seal and loads of birds. Back at the front David and Nick were out on formula kit but the wind was dropping so I called it a day. So a good afternoon out enjoying the sunshine in my shortie for the first time, could have been a bit windier but never mind the sun and no rain is nice :)
